Hon Dr. Phoebe Muga Asiyo , Hon Dr. Miria R. K, Matembe and Hon Gertrude Mwongela give key note addresses on women leadership
CRAWN TRUST took the initiative to help organize parliamentarians into a resource which can aid in coordination of work and achievement of milestones in gender. This was by streamlining the roles of the different members and actors to avoid role conflict in gender work. It was also aimed at creating an enabling environment for internal dialogue and and consensus building among women constituency and women led Civil Society Organizations. CRAWN Trust helped identify gaps in capacity on gender and the duty bearers asked for capacity building on the same which CRAWN Trust followed on. Proposals on expanding the space to accommodate all the groups of parliamentarians, mentorship and building synergies between KEWOPA and CSOs were developed.
